Atkins warns that Warrington aren’t even at their best yet

Warrington Wolves centre Ryan Atkins has sent out a firm warning to the rest of Super League: we aren’t playing anywhere near our best yet.

The Wolves have started the season with six straight wins, but Atkins believes that there’s still lots more to come from his side in 2016.

He says that it’s a “scary” thought to contemplate what the Wolves could do to a team if they string together a complete performance across a full game.

“We’re six from six and we’re going well but we’re still not firing on all cylinders and that’s the scary thing,” he told the Warrington Guardian.

“We’ve not put in a full, 80-minute performance yet. We had a great first half against Castleford and we took our foot off the gas a little bit in the second half.

“Once we do put a full 80-minute performance in, it’s scary what we will do and we will blow someone away.”
