Donaldson confirms surgery success

James Donaldson has tweeted from his hospital bed to confirm his surgery has been a success.

League Express reported this week that Donaldson would undergo an operation to repair a dislocated wrist.

He suffered the injury in the defeat to Warrington two weeks ago and is expected to be out somewhere between ten to 12 weeks.

Donaldson is one of numerous players currently ruled out through injury at the Robins, with Shaun Lunt, Kevin Larroyer and Terry Campese all currently on the sidelines.

Hull KR are 9th in Super League ahead of their match with St Helens on Friday having drawn with Castleford on the opening day of the season.
