Gaskell unsure of Bradford future

In demand halfback Lee Gaskell  is set to weigh up his options, with his contract set to expire at Bradford.

As of May 1st, all players out of contract at the end of the season are allowed to speak to other clubs, with the Bulls playmaker falling into that category.

Interest in his services is thought to be rife, with TotalRL revealing in March that Bradford’s Championship rivals Leigh are interested in his services.

Hull FC are also thought to be in the race to snap up the 25-year-old, with Leon Pryce potentially going the other way.

Speaking to the Telegraph and Argus, Gaskell admitted that he is keen on playing in Super League.

“I want to get it sorted as soon as possible, to be honest.

“There are obviously a few things that have gone on off the field the field which have kept people on their toes. I’m sure the new coach will be appointed shortly so that the club and the players know where everyone is at.

“Will I have other options? Possibly, because from May 1 players can talk to other clubs. Obviously I want to play in Super League and I’d be lying if I said otherwise. But I’m happy here and enjoying myself, so there is no reason why I wouldn’t stay.”
