Brian McDermott has revealed he had his eye on Brett Ferres back when he was Harlequins coach.
The Rhinos signed Ferres on Monday after the treble winners agreed an undisclosed fee with Huddersfield for his services.
And, speaking exclusively to TotalRL.com, McDermott admitted that he has kept his eye on Ferres’ progress since coaching him in Yorkshire’s U18 team over a decade ago.
