Monday’s League Express – the 3000th edition and the first of 2016 – will feature all the usual news, interviews and features from the world of Rugby League.
This Monday’s edition features an interview with Hull FC prop Scott Taylor about his move to the KC Stadium for 2016.
Here’s a sneak preview of some quotes from the towering 24-year-old – with the full, exclusive story available to read only in this Monday’s paper.
Hull FC prop Scott Taylor has insisted that 2016 can be the year Hull finally break the monopoly at the top of Super League and become a force in the sport once again.
The Black and Whites made the top eight last year but were never in contention for a top-four berth in the Super 8s – but with several high-profile recruits on board for next season, Hull have been tipped by some for a challenge next year.
And Taylor, who is back in Hull after spells away at Wigan and Salford, says the top four is the target Hull have to set their targets on – and admits the squad seem ready to take a significant leap forward over the next 12 months.
“Personally, I think now is the time,” he said.
“This is the first year that Radders has had his own team. Arguably I might have been at Hull last season had there been room under the cap – but this is his team now.
“Everyone he has signed looks top drawer and professional. It is about building that culture. It will take time but the squad we have got this year can go out there and do some damage. We really need to set our eyes on top four and go from there.”
