Sam Burgess has been released from hospital after making progress in his recovery from a neck injury.
The England forward spent two nights in a Sydney hospital after being stretchered off the field following a nasty collision in South Sydney Rabbitohs’ defeat to St George Illawarra on Sunday.
Souths have confirmed that tests have shown no major damage has been sustained, however they will continue to assess the 27-year-old for any further complications following the injury.
He will miss out when the Bunnies take on Canterbury on Good Friday.
