Zak Hardaker will not be charged over the incident that caused an eye injury to Chris Hill during Saturday’s Challenge Cup semi-final between Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves.
Hill was left with a visible injury underneath his right eye after the incident, during which Hardaker’s hand made contact with the eye of the England prop.
However, the RFL have confirmed today that Hardaker will not face a charge, after deeming the contact with Hill’s face was ‘non-deliberate’.
Elsewhere, the only player charged from both semi-final matches was Widnes’ Willie Isa, who was charged with two seperate incidents of dangerous contact – with Kirk Dixon and Andy Lynch.
